Himalaya Parivar organized meeting on 31^st August 2011 at Staff Mess Hall, Gangkyi at 6pm.

The opening speech was given by Himalaya Parivar on Tibet issue.

The honorable Chief Guest of the day was Mr.Indresh Kumar, Chair person Mr. Rajiv Bindhal, Health Minister of Himachal Pradesh and Special Guest was Dr.Lobsang Sangay, Kalon Tripa(prime minister of exile govt of Tibet).

Mr. Indresh Kumar said that Tibet is not a part of china as the border is not connected between India and china before the invasion of Tibet instead it is between India and Tibet.

He also said that if China really wants to develop Tibet then do it by giving them their freedom and help them from outside. China has always been convincing the world, about how material development has been taking place in Tibet under their occupation which is injustice.

The prime objective of China is to spoil the relationship between Tibet and India. Though Tibet and India has very good religions bond, it is very important for our Indian and Tibetan brothers and sisters to keep our relation constant and strengthen.

After finishing his speech, Dr.Lobsang Sangay ,Kalon Tripa(prime minister of exile govt of Tibet) had given a thank you speech to Himalaya Parivar for organizing this meeting and other chair person for spending their valuable time and support on our cause.

During formal inauguration ceremony Kalon Tripa Pro.Samdhong Rinpoche had passed his stamp as per our constitution to the newly elected Kalon Tripa Dr.Lobsang sangay which is more than 700old.

Newly elected Kalon Tripa, Dr. Lobsang Sangay, appeal people to support for his work for the achievement of our aims, since he has started working on.
